Rules for a safe work community

These rules apply to Freelancers, Employers, and anyone using Microincome. They supplement the Terms of Service. Report a credible issue with evidence; do not expose another user’s private information publicly or retaliate.

Fraud and deceptive financial activity

  • Identity theft, false documents, staff impersonation, or fabricated account details.
  • Stolen payment methods, deliberate false chargebacks, double recovery, or manipulation of a transaction.
  • Phishing, credential theft, laundering, investment scams, Ponzi or pyramid schemes.
  • Artificial clicks, fake engagement, paid deceptive reviews, or evidence fabricated to obtain a reward.

Account integrity and verification

Do not share, sell, transfer, or operate another person’s account. Do not create duplicate accounts to evade a restriction, inflate referrals, or obtain additional task rewards. Do not bypass user-type or KYC controls. A business representative must be authorised to act for that business. Any legitimate need for an additional account should be discussed with support first.

Freelancer task conduct

  • Submit your own authentic proof and authorised work; do not plagiarise or reuse proof deceptively.
  • Do not use bots or automation where the task or external service forbids it.
  • Do not claim slots you cannot reasonably perform or manipulate deadlines and submission states.
  • Do not threaten an Employer, extort a rating, or manufacture a dispute to obtain an unearned reward.

Employer task conduct

  • Do not post work you cannot lawfully request or do not intend to fund.
  • Do not reject conforming work to avoid payment or expand requirements after acceptance.
  • Do not disguise unpaid work or personal-data harvesting as a small paid task.
  • Do not request bank access, OTPs, fake reviews, credential sharing, or unlawful discrimination.
  • Do not divert funded work or settlement outside the platform to evade agreed protections or fees.

Content that cannot be published

No unlawful, sexually exploitative, obscene, violent, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or threatening material; no spam, malware, stolen personal data, or unauthorised copyrighted content. A task must also respect the rules of a website or app it asks a Freelancer to use. “Marketing” is not an exemption for deceptive endorsements or unlawful data collection.

Illegal or harmful services

Do not facilitate trafficking in people, drugs, illegal weapons, stolen property or credentials, extremist or terrorist activity, cybercrime, unauthorised system access, tax evasion, financial crime, or another activity prohibited by applicable law. Tasks targeting children or vulnerable people for exploitation are prohibited.

Communication and payment boundaries

Keep communication respectful and relevant to the work. Do not intimidate users, send unrelated unsolicited promotions, expose private information, or solicit off-platform settlement to evade protections. A genuine complaint, a lawful payment-provider dispute, or contact details needed for an authorised service should not be misrepresented as abuse without considering its purpose.

Technical, review, and referral abuse

Do not exploit a bug for gain, evade rate or access controls, scrape private data, flood the service, fake reviews, file malicious reports, or operate self-referral farms. Report a suspected vulnerability through support without accessing unrelated accounts or publishing secrets. Access to a public profile does not authorise extraction of private financial or KYC data.

Possible enforcement measures

Depending on evidence and severity, action may include a warning, removal or restriction of content, a task hold, temporary account limitation, suspension, or closure. Proven improper credits can be reconciled, and unlawful conduct may be referred to authorities. A review should distinguish genuine lawful funds from disputed or fraudulent credits; legitimate balances are not automatically confiscated for every violation.

Reporting and handling evidence

Contact support or an available report control with the task/user reference, relevant dates, and supporting screenshots or messages. Do not include another person’s password, bank credentials, or unrelated documents. We may ask for clarification, preserve necessary evidence, and limit the details disclosed about someone else’s case. Retaliation against a good-faith reporter is prohibited.

Appeals and corrections

If you believe a restriction or content decision is mistaken, contact support promptly with its reference, your explanation, and relevant evidence. A reviewer may request clarification and communicate the available result. Avoid creating another account to bypass the decision. The platform review process does not remove statutory remedies or access to a competent authority.

Applicable law and future updates

Indian law and other mandatory rules applicable to a transaction govern enforcement. We cooperate with valid legal requests.

We will publish revisions here with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate platform notice. Changes to a price or fee apply to future confirmations; an already funded task remains subject to its recorded requirements and applicable law.

Nothing in this policy removes a right, refund, remedy, or complaint process that applicable law makes mandatory. A platform review does not prevent you from contacting a payment provider, regulator, consumer authority, or competent court.
