Safety Tips

Practical precautions for Freelancers, Employers, account security, and safe task payments.

Work carefully and keep evidence

Microincome provides account controls, task review, reserved-budget records, protected document delivery, and support routes. These reduce risk while your own judgement remains important. Check the actual task and account status, retain relevant proof, and pause if a request appears unsafe.

Freelancer precautions

  • Read the complete instructions, reward, eligibility, and proof requirements before applying.
  • Check the task’s moderation/status indicators without treating a badge as a guarantee.
  • Use a unique password, keep recovery access secure, and never share sign-in codes.
  • Report an unsafe download, suspicious link, requirement change, or unfair rejection with evidence.

Employer responsibilities

  • Post truthful, lawful instructions and fund the task before inviting work.
  • Review proof against the original requirements and explain a genuine rejection.
  • Follow the recorded review deadline and track available versus reserved funds.
  • Only deposit amounts appropriate for your planned work; review the payment and refund terms.
  • Do not request private credentials or recruit workers to make deceptive claims.

Warning signs of a scam

  • A request to pay or settle outside the platform to bypass protections.
  • Requests for passwords, OTPs, card PINs, private bank access, or unrelated ID documents.
  • Promises of guaranteed wealth, investment returns, or implausible pay for almost no work.
  • Pressure to act immediately, keep the instructions secret, install unknown remote-control software, or ignore a security warning.

Checking websites and downloads

Use the Microincome account and payment URLs you recognise. Inspect a task’s external destination, avoid executable files from untrusted sources, and do not disable security tools to perform work. A screenshot request does not authorise capturing another person’s private information. Report a security issue rather than exploiting it.

Task checks and payment protection

Moderation and task-security checks can restrict an unsafe listing. Reserved task budgets support approval settlement, and eligible automatic review processing helps prevent indefinite pending proof. A security hold can pause a payout. These systems do not guarantee every user, approval, external service, or bank transfer; consult the recorded status and Escrow Policy.

Proof authenticity and account records

Submit original work and truthful proof. Reviewers may examine duplicate or suspicious files and the available activity and transaction records. Avoid editing evidence to mislead. A ledger or audit record supports an investigation but does not mean every action is publicly visible or that a detection tool is infallible.

Official support and urgent incidents

Use Contact Us or dashboard Support, following the published support hours and available channels. Never send a password or OTP to someone claiming to be an admin. For a suspected unauthorised bank payment, contact the payment provider promptly; for an immediate threat or suspected crime, contact the appropriate local authorities.
